Governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, Mascot Uzor-Kalu, has called for a peaceful, transparent and credible governorship primary election ahead of the party’s gubernatorial primary election in the state.
In a message to aspirants, expected delegates, stakeholders and party loyalists, Kalu stressed the need for unity, fairness and maturity throughout the primary process, noting that the collective interest of the party and the future of Abia State must remain above personal ambitions.
He stated that the APC primary should reflect the true spirit of democracy by remaining people-centred, transparent and peaceful, while also strengthening the unity and internal stability of the party.
He further expressed optimism that the exercise would reinforce the shared vision of building a more prosperous, inclusive and forward-looking Abia State, urging all participants to conduct themselves responsibly before, during and after the primaries.
