The foremost politician from Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has risen in defence of the Nigerian journalists and the Nigeria judiciary, describing them as the most courageous, boldest and the best when compared to their counterparts in other countries.

In a video shared with PrimeTell, OUK noted that Nigeria has produced world-class journalists like Dele Giwa, Yakubu Mohammed and others who laid down their lives in the course of defending the country.
He also noted that in the case of the Judiciary, though there are few corrupt ones, but the institution itself always stands up to defend the law and the country whenever it matters most.
