Nigerians living in diaspora under the umbrella of Tinubu Ambo Support Group have declared their unflinching support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
The assurance was given by the TASG DIaspora Director , Mr. Kelvin Muyiwa, during a solidarity meeting, held in England, where he commended the administration’s efforts in stabilizing the economy and restoring confidence in governance.
He noted that despite initial challenges, the Tinubu-led government has demonstrated a strong commitment to repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth through key reforms in infrastructure, power, and industrial development.
He described the President as a visionary leader whose policies are gradually laying the foundation for a more prosperous nation.
“We in the Diaspora have observed the President’s pragmatic steps in reviving critical sectors of the economy. His Renewed Hope Agenda is beginning to yield results, and we believe he deserves another term to consolidate on the gains achieved so far,” Muyiwa stated.
The group further advised Nigerians at home to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), emphasizing that active participation in the electoral process remains crucial to sustaining democracy and national development.
“We urge every eligible Nigerian, especially the youths, to go out and register for their PVCs. The power to decide the future of our country lies in our hands,” he said.
In a related development, the Congress also threw its weight behind Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, former Governor of Lagos State, urging him to contest for a return to office in 2027. The group described Ambode as a tested and result-driven administrator whose leadership style transformed Lagos into a model city for other states to emulate.
“Ambode’s first tenure remains a benchmark in good governance, urban renewal, and people-oriented leadership. We strongly believe that bringing him back will further accelerate the development of Lagos State,”he said.
The forum reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing support among Nigerians abroad and within the country to ensure both President Tinubu and Ambode emerge victorious in the 2027 elections.
