Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, has celebrated the remarkable contributions of women to families, communities, and the nation on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
In a message released on Saturday, Senator Kalu paid special tribute to his mother, whose prayers, sacrifices, and guidance, he said, laid the foundation of his life. He also celebrated his wife and daughters, describing their love, resilience, and support as a constant source of inspiration.
The senator commended the hardworking women of Abia North Senatorial District, Abia State, and all Nigerian women for their invaluable contributions to homes, businesses, public service, and national development. “Your courage and determination continue to drive progress in our society,” he stated.
Senator Kalu called for renewed collective commitment to empowering women, promoting equality, and creating opportunities that will enable every woman and girl to realise her full potential.
